Holloway & Copeland in Handshake Line

Was not expecting that. Game wasn’t chippy.

Although on the TV replay. After Oz went over the back, it did look like #10 purposely hooked Oz and attempted to throw him over his hip. The announcers even mentioned that it looked intentional.

It happened in front of Sha, maybe he was pissed about it.

I thought the two players just got tangled-up.

Maybe forget the big brother thing here. It’s condescending. Copeland is a peer, a legit D1 coach.
Seriously Sha has to just walk away. It's going to get to a point if he doesn't get us to tournaments consistently, the act is going to wear thin. All the goodwill he built since he was 18 can go up in smoke quickly. There's been a number of disputes at half court by many coaches. It happens, but you don't throw the other guys arm.

Exactly. You can’t do this sh-t, period. He was the aggressor.

Although did Cope look any better turning back around like he wanted to fight Sha. Both looked bad.
Who said he wanted to fight? Looked to me like he was kind of shocked after it happened (staring forward, expression on face). Could have turned around to try to talk it out there rather than wait for separate press conference statements.

Maybe you're right. It was just my interpretation.

Maybe, although shocked people generally don't go back to what caused the shock. But maybe you're right. It was just my interpretation.
Usually if you want to fight you take a hard first step or two. Copeland did not he just turned around and looked at the guy who threw his arm.

Think Copeland dropped a bomb there to cause Sha to throw his arm like that? The calmness as he walked away after having his arm twisted kind of tells me that he knows he said something nasty.

No matter the competition, the adrenaline rush a coach experiences in a game in not understood by most. That's why I don't put much credence in post game handshakes or press conferences. Could both have handled the situation differently? Of course. But unless you know what was actually said, it's best to reserve judgement.
