Totally agree. After the first several games I truly wondered if we would win more than a couple games in this league as we were a mess. (go back and watch the tapes - ouch). There have been some shots at Sha on this board about him keeping guys out too long, bad subs etc, . He’s allowed to learn on the job. But you can’t deny he has done an incredible job in improving the overall play of this team as the season has gone on. Maybe close to the least talented roster in the league on paper, he’s managed to get (for the most part) guys to play roles that match their skill set. Didn’t see tonight coming, but who knows going forward. Looking forward to it.

The only thing I can guess is that they wanted him to be able to quickly guard the inbound if the foul shot was made.

If I told you before the game we would be out-rebounded 40-32, out-assisted 16-7, that we would shoot 19% from 3, that UConn would shoot 39% from 3 and hit 5 more 3’s than us, and that we would still win the game….I would have told you to lay off the adult beverages!! Unbelievable win!
I also want to give Tray Jackson a shout out. I know he has had a rough year but he battled his ass off tonight against 2 guys with at least 60 pounds on him and made some great defensive plays
