isnt teaming up with billionaires something the people of america shouldn't be happy about?
Why on earth would we want the smartest, most accomplished, tech leaders that can assist in security, improve the environment and provide hundreds of thousands of high paying US based jobs on Team America???
No, let’s go with Oprah and George Clooney….
because politicians are supposed to represent the people, not corporations and the 1%. it's sort of the whole point. you've strayed so far from the entire point. Why on earth would we want the smartest, most accomplished, tech leaders that can assist in national security, improve the environment and provide hundreds of thousands of high paying US based jobs on Team America???
No, let’s go with Oprah and George Clooney….
No, rich people that actually do things that help America are good.Just amusing to see the flip because of all the complaining about all of the influence that billionaires have when they are liberal.
No one really cares about the influence of money when it is on their side... and "team America" was tongue in cheek.
Exactly my point. Rich people who disagree with you are bad.
Rich people who agree with you are good.
No, rich people that actually do things that help America are good.
I didn’t mention Rogan. He’s a celebrity and is no different.Joe Rogan is basically Oprah for a different generation.
Zuckerberg is helping America? The guy who owns two of the platforms that drive social media addiction for kids, something you have expressed concerns about here many times, is good?
It depends. You can team up with billionaires for good and you can team up with them for bad. If they do bad, the American people should make their voices heard.isnt teaming up with billionaires something the people of america shouldn't be happy about?
Let's see what they come up with to make it better. If they do nothing, it's a problem. But you can't negotiate to make it better if they're not sitting at the same table. If they don't do the job they need to get out of the way.Zuckerberg is helping America? The guy who owns two of the platforms that drive social media addiction for kids, something you have expressed concerns about here many times, is good?
For today he showed the world how mesmerized one can be looking at the cleavage of sanchezJoe Rogan is basically Oprah for a different generation.

What i want to know is will there be improved metrics for today to 6 months out to 12 months 18 24 30 36 42 and 48 months on...Let's see what they come up with to make it better. You're literally saying it can't be good 1 hour in. Let's see.
Talk to people. Don't rely on the Twitter. Every stat could say one thing but if the people aren't feeling it then WGAS. Every American should answer if they're life is better. Do they feel safer. Are they struggling financially less or more. The only people confident Kamala would win are the people living in a bubble with only one type of friend. Cost of gas, milk, eggs, grocery index, dow jones, mortage rates, inflation, unemployment rate

Personally I don't trust any of them. But I'm not opposed to giving them a shot and if they're in it for themselves and their own greed get them out. But with them the potential for greatness is astronomical.I'm not saying it can't be good. I'm personally just amused about their embrace.
People who would be critical of Oprah being there for a Dem and cheering about Rogan.
People who would have been critical of Zuckerberg being there when he was embracing democrats are cheering for him because his politics shifted. etc...
these people can solve world hunger or pay off the national debt. anything good they do is a disguised byproduct of enriching themselvesIt depends. You can team up with billionaires for good and you can team up with them for bad. If they do bad, the American people should make their voices heard.
he's literally one of 3 people you mentioned.I didn’t mention Rogan. He’s a celebrity and is no different.
But explain to me having Musk, Cook and Bezos engaged is a bad thing.
these billionaires have the ability, right now, to change everyone's life for the better in all these areas. if they wanted to. but they haven't and they wont. they must be so altruistic in a way i don't seeTalk to people. Rogan and Oprah have no impact on a politicians success in office. It doesn’t even look like they influence people. Rogan is a podcaster and at the end of the day Trump had to do all the heavy lifting for three hours, while Kamala declined.I'm not saying it can't be good. I'm personally just amused about their embrace.

Zuck realizing he better be at the table if all the other tech giants are there.People who would have been critical of Zuckerberg being there when he was embracing democrats are cheering for him because his politics shifted. etc...
Sounds like you're looking for a handout. They can fix problems just give us all some money guys.these billionaires have the ability, right now, to change everyone's life for the better in all these areas. if they wanted to. but they haven't and they wont. they must be so altruistic in a way i don't see
I said they were in the house at the start of the thread. You brought up “billionaires” later on and that’s what I responded to. Rogan is not even close to being a billionaire.he's literally one of 3 people you mentioned.
do we really have to explain why billionaire controlling and influencing politicians is a bad thing? especially the president?
like how delusional are we that we really have to state that like it's some crazy idea. billionaires dictating policy is bad. its why america exists. how is this any different than a russian oligarchy.
having the .0001% elite corporate billionaires entrenched in the inauguration is a good thing? elected officials are supposed to represent the people. yes please let the 3 trillionairs influence what is good for the people. they surely know. they've done such a great job making everyone's situation a better.
its not even debatable. its a bad thing. yea great george clooney bad. this is bad too. worse.
