Indiana State

good question. Def leaves the high major bubble teams sweating

Both are bubble teams with Neither all that deserving of a bid. Neither team has any good non conference wins. 4 losses in a mid major conference isn’t worthy. Both have high NETs as a result of the blow out wins from a weak schedule

Looks like Brodie had a nice game vs Avila with 17 & 8. He plays his role very well at Drake. Has been a starter there for 4 years so he's very experienced in their offense. Has good chemistry with their playmakers. He moves around well, sets great screens, passes well and does a great job converting at the rim. Defends well, hustles and is a strong rebounder. Averages 11.3 & 8 shooting 63% from the field. Great team player in a similar way that Bediako is for us.

Drake has a stud in Jared DeVries. He's a Baylor Scheierman-clone with deep range. In his 3rd year, he's 2-time MVC POY averaging 22-7-4. He's the coach's kid and could create problems for someone in the Tournament.

Indiana State is deserving of a bid. The Valley is a quality league. The bubble teams in the Power 6 have proven they don't deserve to be in. They get a million chances to get quality wins.

Michigan St is 8-13 in Q1/Q2 games... 8-13! Their resume is no better than Indiana, who is nowhere near the bubble.

They probably don’t make the cut based on the criteria but I’d put them in over a middling HM. They’re very solid and the noncon is respectable.

The bracket projections that have had ISU in have had them in the AQ range below the last at-large teams.

If that's reality, they're not getting in. If they were sitting at a 10 before this weekend, they'd have a chance.

Unfortunately for them getting smacked by Alabama (by 22) and Michigan State (by 12) plus that Q4 loss will hurt them.

That loss to Illinois State is the Q4 will do them in?
