Louisville was snubbed by many coaches, which indicates how far the program has fallen. I read that Bob Huggins contacted a Louisville radio station practically begging for consideration, which indicates how far he has fallen.

You would expect a power conference coach to be attracted to Louisville. The grass isn't always greener on the other side, especially if it's Bluegrass.

Kelsey did a great job here in Charleston. I heard many of his players hit the portal yesterday as he had probably told them he is leaving. I don't even know the dollars involved but I'm sure it was a no brainer as much as he loved it here. Crazy times.

This hire will not be set in stone until Kelsey actually shows up for the press conference (a la Winthrop to UMass and back in 2017).
