Marino in the news today as he represents Bill Stepien who was supposed to appear before the January 6 committee. He was unable to due to his wife going into labor. Always good to see a member of the Seton Hall community involved in high-level proceedings.

I think they have enough evidence even without Bill but I hope Kevin gets some air time if Bill eventually testifies.Looks to me like Mike Pence comes out looking like the best person who honored the rule of law and the constitution.

It’s clear Trump put tremendous pressure over Pence. But what is also obviously clear, that almost everyone at the White House knew that the claims Trump was making was complete and utter lies. Pence knew he could not do what Trump wanted. I’m not sure I call Pence comes out looking good. He comes out as someone who is not a complete nut job. And I guess in this day and time, that’s now coming off as good.

The hearings are showing a great link between Trump and the coordination of the riot. But in order for this to go further criminally, they need more direct links in communications with the proud boys and people close to Trump. We shall see.
