So guys, this is very out of the ordinary for me. No, I'm not sick... I haven't lost my mind... I'm not drinking in the mornings. LOL.
I was really impressed with KW's game planning on that Antwon Portley kid yesterday.
I have also noticed more intricacies within the "weave" offense... But I have also noticed we don't use it as much this year.
Lastly, while KW is not a great "in the huddle" coach.
He pulled Desi at one point yesterday and pointed to a chair at the end of the bench and kept looking at Desi until he sat there and then spoke to him for a few minutes before putting him back in the game... He also did the same thing with IW at one point.
There was another moment, when Angel was starting to play well and KW pulled him for no real reason... Angel got upset on the court and started talking when he got to the sideline... KW calmly walked down the bench to where Angel was and explained why he was sitting (don't know if there was an actual reason, for a breather, etc).
Just gotta say, I was impressed with KW yesterday. Kudos to him. On Defense, some on Offense and especially as a coach of young men yesterday.
