Measles

The vast majority of people have the measles vaccine. It's not a concern.
Yup, 93% of children are vaccinated and exceptions are minorities, religious sects, immigrant groups and geographic clusters. But let’s follow the MSM narrative….smh

What is wrong with the narrative here?

The rate of children being vaccinated is dropping. The risk of measles reaching endemic status again in the US has increased.

Should the media ignore that?

I was referring to cerns post..”measles run rampant; don’t vaccinate.”.

This is not a disease that is running rampant across the US. It’s occurring and select groups that needed to be targeted for education.

today measles isn’t a problem, autism is 1000 times greater. Nobody covering that and if you ask legitimate questions you will be labeled anti vax. I have no issue fighting for the use of vaccines just also be able to question them as well. In this country you can’t question them without being labeled.

then what does? Why is the rate so high? There are tons of other shots kids are getting. Many are multi vaccines in one that kids might be too small to take on. And don’t ignore why is MSM not all over this daily.

Everyone will tell us what doesn’t cause it. My question is what causes it? Until we know what causes it, can this information be wrong? Or is this absolute fact, new studies in the future won’t find anything concrete to change this. It’s as solid as the science that 2+2=4

We can admit that we don’t know what causes everything. Science did not understand what caused Alzheimer’s for the longest time. Now we know exactly what causes it, have actual treatments, and can use blood tests to understand people’s risk for this brutal disease. I am sure the same will happen with autism and treatments by science will be developed. In the meantime you have fraudsters like the medical medium and RFK Jr pushing bullshit to gullible people.

I think children under 2 getting screen time and older parents plays a role. Study that.

you also had people like Kamala saying she would never get a covid vaccine that was created under Trump. I actually have a ton of respect for that. Then immediately did a 180 and got the vaccine when in office. So is medicine political? Yes. It shouldn’t be. However when things get political people learn not to trust. It’s disgusting. People should be able to have confidence in what we’re told. Pharmaceutical companies and their lobbies have big money at stake and they put the money in front of good information and nobody believes the government fights them tooth and nail for our safety. Tons of bad shit allowed by CDC and FDA.

Pharma also does a ton of good. We’re beating cancers, solving terrible diseases like alzheimers, spinal muscular atrophy, etc. There are bad actors in the industry like every other industry in the world. Autism has been made political by people like RFK Jr.

Sounds like you’re in the pharma field. Autism has been in the news for almost 20 Years. More people are aware of it today because of RFK Jr.

You just ignored that the former VP of the USA told America she wouldn’t take the vaccine then when she got in office and it was good politics she took it.

Ignored? No, I just don’t care what she said because I know it was political. Just as Trump claiming eggs are down 92% and gas is $1.78 is political. I don’t work for a pharma but I know that they’re finding cures for terrible diseases. Let’s not throw out all the good they do because they lobby like every other industry.

Pharma is also killing people. Of course they have to do enough good so people overlook the side effects that can cause stroke, heart attack or even death

And nobody is forcing you to take any product. It’s up to you and your doctor to evaluate. I’m sure you’ll be glad they’re around if you happen to get cancer. Or you can just take some vitamins , I’m sure that’ll cure you.
yeah not sure why I try to eat foods high in nutrients, vitamins and minerals. I should just take pills all day.

Didn’t seem to me he was saying it is running rampant, but that it will be.

The point of what the study was that measles is making a comeback, and if the trend of less of a percentage of the population getting vaccinated continues, we will enter into an endemic phase of a disease which we had under control.

Ask all the questions you want, but when all of the evidence shows that it’s not the vaccines, at some point saying “I’m just asking questions” is just a cop out from saying that you are just not going to believe anything unless it confirms your belief.

There is evidence that suggests that risk of autism increases the older the parents are. You know what has been increasing over the last 40 years? The age that parents are having children.

Much easier to blame a vaccine instead of recognizing that waiting too long to have children could have negative consequences. People just want someone else to blame when something goes wrong.

“Yup let the measles run rampant. Don't vaccinate. Who cares anymore? USA = Chaos.”

That’s what he wrote… go ahead and parse his words to make your point.

If you just tackle the problem in those specific areas and groups, there will be no problem. Why the historical comment when all we need to do is raise the vaccination rate 2 to 3% by focusing on those specific groups to get to herd immunity. This does not fall into the anti-vaccine narrative in the MSM.

Just by shutting down the border, it will improve those numbers.

Yep two things can be, and are true.

Certain groups are less likely to be vaccinated, and vaccine hesitancy is increasing outside those groups.

it’s a problem. The media should focus on it, and they should spend time talking about outbreaks so there is a higher chance people will see that it is actually a danger to their children.

So young parents don’t have autistic kids? Parents in their 40s have a 5-10% higher chance according to studies.

How much consideration is there at 40 years of weed, McDonald’s, alcohol are the reasons as opposed to just age. The unhealthy lifestyle we live contributes to what our bodies produce. Does a 40 year old in Italy or France have the risk of an autistic child as an American who’s mostly eating processed food.’

But the media will not message specifically to those groups because it’s not politically correct. They love the anti-vaccine narrative though.

I didn’t say age is the only factor, but there is more evidence that it plays a larger role than vaccines do… yet people only focus on vaccines.

They won’t talk about diet or lifestyle decisions because they want to blame someone else for the reason that something happened to their child, and yes, there is more evidence on prenatal nutrition increasing the risk of autism than vaccines as well.

The media is one of the most untrusted groups out there. What makes you think people are going to listen to them?

There’s more than one factor but you want to exclude vaccines. I agree it’s not just one thing. I’m just not excluding vaccines from being one of the factors. You simplified it to age. And age can be complex because of the wear and tear we put on our bodies in this country from nutrition to pills to stress. The more you do that the more it hurts the body.

Children being hospitalized and dying is not something that you can chalk up to the media lying.

There was a documentary a few years ago and I can’t remember the name, but it provided several case studies of kids that had ADHD or other childhood emotional issues. They changed the diet (one kid was constantly being fed, goldfish, and Doritos and hardly ate his meals) and within months the kids were all perfectly fine.

In all honestly, what would convince you that vaccines are not contributing?

Independent studies from a group that is 100% looking out for peoples best interests with 0 impact of making money or lobbyists contributions, funded by someone with no potential financial gain. Government organizations should be those people but lobbyists have infiltrated the system. Nowhere in the world does more studies and we have such an unhealthy population. Are we that bad at science?

There are countless studies from all kinds of groups all over the world showing no link. Not one of them is trustworthy?

Saying vaccines is the issue takes money out of peoples pockets. Saying processed foods takes money out of peoples pockets. Saying alcohol takes money out of peoples pockets. Saying age doesn’t. So yeah I find the solution your offering as suspect because I think age might be a factor but also what you’ve done in those years as a bigger factor. And how you’ve treated your body seems to be ignored. Just saying age protects big money.
