Some odd stuff with him near the end of the season after Sha praised him earlier in the year.

I think he’s got upside; a 3-and-D type 6th man on a good team.

Prince is an undersized 4 or a 3 who cant shoot. Dual is an awful BE pg. Hope to replace them next or move to the bench

I guess we will find out the price of a bench player on 2-19 Big East Team. We can then extrapolate on what a good roster will cost. This is such a joke.

I’m starting to wonder if we truly have any money for NIL..

I have to assume that Coleman and Middleton told Shaheen what their price was and we didn’t give it.

We’re not in the position to just let decent players leave as we have nothing to replace them with.

What’s stopping us from giving them their asking price?

Point being, if we can’t afford Middleton. Who can we afford?!?!

If you look at the tea leaves, Coleman was gone a long time ago…

I would not be surprised if Sha told these kids, go see what you are worth, and get back to me and we will see if we can meet it. I think these kids are delusional on what their value is. And when revenue sharing happens and there is essentially a cap, the money is not going to be out there.

Two teams in two years. Very poor stats, including unforced turnovers and silly fouls. I wish him well. 5 points is not hard to replace.

Somehow, they must reverse the trend---

Liked Middleton but if you watched him closely he was often manhandled physically. Was really surprised in that Marquette game where he looked like he wanted no part of that kind of play...

If Scotty asked for $750K would you pay him? Some of these guys may find that their value is less than they think. I hope he stays, but wish him well if he doesn't.

Small forward who needs to put a lot of weight on to compete for starting job in BE.A good rotation player but likely that's not what he wants.

Scotty in 2024-25 isn't irreplaceable at all. In fact, he left a lot to improve upon. But given the latent ability, he is someone I would've liked to keep and develop, assuming the right price (which I guess is still an option). We can't assume that talented sophomores will stagnate in their development.
Great point, SHUSource. And there’s also value in continuity. Dual, Aligbe, Middleton, Godswill, notwithstanding their limitations, know Sha and the system, and would mitigate against having to introduce 12 new transfers to next year’s team.

I think used effectively, they can become contributors on a good team.
