Mobile season tickets

I just finished transferring the preseason games to everyone on my account. My goodness was that annoying. They need to figure out a way to do batch processing so you can transfer an entire season ticket package to someone else on your account.

all told it will probably take 30 minutes to transfer all the tickets. Then they have to individually load each one on their end which will take time too. I know it’s not that big a deal but definitely a pain in the butt.

it actually is a big deal especially considering the average age of the fanbase.

were talking about going digital. these things should be a snap of the fingers. sharing and sending is the whole benefit of digital.

season ticket exchanges are in a weird limbo where they went digital, but the capabilities and UI are completely archaic to the point where itd be better off just calling someone. i have season tix for wells fargo and the ticket portal is insanity. horrible. definitely room for a disrupter if this continues

I'm pretty sure there is a way to bulk transfer. Or at least Ticketmaster has the capability, maybe it's on SHU to implement at some level, I'm not sure about that. I just know it was a major complaint about mobile ticketing a couple years ago and I thought Ticketmaster eventually created a solution.

I called ticket office. They said “unfortunately, single game manual transfer is the easiest way”.

Sounds like they know it’s a pain point.

The cashless trend is mostly intended for data collection with the public facing benefit of speeding up concession lines by removing the need for cashiers to count change. Of course, that second part is only relevant if the cash transaction is the bottleneck - getting the food out takes longer often enough. This is one that a lot of venues were hesitent to adopt but COVID changed that. It added the reasoning that it removes a point of contact between customer and cashier. Realistically, I think it's just an excuse to do something they already wanted to do but avoided for fear of pushback.
Most stadiums don’t have the technology to take advantage of the concessions data (too many privacy laws and red tape with con sessions vendors who own the data). It’s actually quite expensive to keep cash on hand between counting, storing and theft

I think that's changing pretty rapidly. While it wasn't previously a concern for venues, the ones that are building out their BI departments (so most that host major pro sports teams) now see the value in that data and will consider data sharing a must have in any concession vendor contract. It's especially true considering the vendors historically don't do much to generate (or at least share) any insights based on that data.

Pardon me if this has been answered before...no tickets are appearing when I log into "My Pirates Account" on my app. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? FYI, I do see them on my account online on the web.

The app should work - I'd start by confirming that you are logged into the app with the same account (email address) your tickets are under. While the app is the ideal method on your phone, you can bypass it by using the web browser and going to am.ticketmaster.com/setonhall. I know that doesn't necessarily answer your question, but it does give you a way to pull up your tickets on your phone if the app isn't working.

Thank you, and to confirm I am using the same email/password. But duly noted on the web browser (on phone) recommendation.

No problem. Regarding app troubleshooting, here's my recommendation:

Open the menu and click "My Pirates Account" - if it already has you logged in, log out and then restart the process (you can also try hitting the icon in the top right, it might bring you where you want to be. Then after clicking "My Pirates Account" you should be presented with options to "Sign in to Seton Hall Pirates" or "Sign in to Ticketmaster." Choose Seton Hall Pirates, not Ticketmaster.

The explanation here is that Seton Hall uses Ticketmaster's platform and you likely have accounts with both them and Ticketmaster under the same email address - but they are not the same account. TM is working on linking them, but it sounds like it may not have been done yet with SHU accounts. So make sure you're logging into Seton Hall, not Ticketmaster and hopefully you'll then be able to see your tickets. Hope this helps. Let me know if you run into any trouble and I'll see if I can be of more assistance.

If you are not seeing in online account or app, you probably have a problem. I would call the ticket office. I assume you are all paid up, including Pirate Blue seat donation?

One of the confusing things about the app for me is the way it's laid out.

There is a prompt for "My Account" when you first click on "You" but as I found out that is for access to the Athletic Department website and not for my ticket account.

You must click on the menu button (the three lines at the upper left of the screen) and find "My Pirates Account. which is at the very bottom of the menu."

Once there you will be prompted to sign in. Your tickets should absolutely be there. Mine are there and I am still paying off the tickets and have yet to arrange for my PB payment. Whether I can actually use them is a different issue. Lol.

Agree with Seton1996, if you're not seeing the tickets, a call to the ticket office to ensure there are no problems is in order.

Yes, the My Account vs My Pirates Account messed me up. Called the ticket office and they got me squared away.

The thing is for me it was a problem a while back when I just wanted to look at something. At the time I figured it out. Then when I went back into the app this week, I needed a minute and finally realized what I had figured out months ago. Lol.

Agree the layout/setup & combining all different things in the same SHU Pirates app was confusing, really should be something along bottom lablelled tickets or an APP just for tickets.

Thank you all for the advice. Logging out and logging back in worked for my app. I can now view the tickets.
