In almost all cases you choose the Dance over the NIT. That's a no brainer.

But to me knowing what has happened to date and taking into consideration it was said that we would lose in the first round I am going to make a rare exception and say that SHU has turned into a local feel good story and even though they did not make the Dance has proven to most everyone that they deserved the honor.

So you recruit off of that, especially if they win the tournament.

Sha has once again become a media darling, and in just his second year was mentioned for a major power 5 (FB) job.

Add in that these additional games have in my opinion made Kooks a Haggerty lock.

Finally, when was the last time the Hall won their last game of the season? That's now a distinct possibility.

Given everything above I would choose the NIT over the Dance
