Schools are going to lose some of the donations that went to athletic departments as the boosters fund NIL. Look for serious funding issues for many schools and the non revenue programs.

Can’t read the article due to the paywall but it makes sense. We can only hope the NCAA institutes guidelines one day and everything levels out. Until then, why spend a dime on facilities when NIL is now priority number one for players?

The problem is only certain number of dollars to go around realistically. NIL $$$ will come in part from PB donations.

What a gloriously monstrous mess.. so what happens when there’s no donations for regular athletics and the universities can’t support water polo or women’s soccer.. title IX demands they need to stay.. who pays, taxpayers or students?
