Interesting article in the Athletic this morning about the 3 differing draft night TV productions: INFL, ESPN, & ABC) and how their coverages will differ.

The NFL network will focus on the teams with reporters at 11 of the 32 team headquarters. Host will be Rich Eisen with Daniel Jeremiah, Charles Davis & David Shaw.

Though ESPN & ABC are the same ownership they will have totally different productions. ESPN will be hosted by Mike Greenberg with Mel Kiper, Louis Riddick, Chris Mortenson & Adam Schefter. ABC will be hosted by Rece Davis with Todd Mc Shay, Desmond Howard & Kirk Herbstreit.

The difference is that ESPN will lean to greater analysis while ABC is aimed at the more casual fan focusing on background stories of the players and their families.

Of course there will be considerable overlap. Anyway depending on your interests this should help you decide where to watch the event.

Personally I'll probably be watching on ESPN.
