Being picked 10th in the conference means very little. Preseason rankings are subjective and faulty because they rely on past results and recruiting coups without taking in important factors such as chemistry and development. Smotrich, Layman, and Trimble were all skilled. Wells, although undersized, was the best point forward in the country (then again, how many point forwards are there?).
You just seem really angry. I haven't looked at your profile, but I'm guessing you're from the Maryland board and over there you're hyping them up as title contenders with this Sulaimon pick-up.
Georgetown is more respected than Maryland in the hoops world even with all the down years the Hoyas have had. Whenever you see highlights of the old Big East on ESPN or CBS, they always work in the '84 and '96 Georgetown teams. Juan Dixon didn't make it in the NBA. He was too frail.
