Pirate Blue Call

Just got a thank you call from a men's soccer player. I answered the 973 area code call that I'd otherwise let go to voicemail knowing PB would be calling based on some tweets from SHU I saw today and based on some posts here a few months back from some posters who mentioned how much they appreciate these calls. Only been donating for about a year now so this is only the 2nd one of these I've gotten that I remember but it was a nice gesture and wasn't a solicitation for a donation by any means, although I was braced with my card ready just in case. Anyways, it offered a little perspective for me at least for a few minutes.

Chizzy Egidgwe of WBB called me. Nice chat- she's taking Alex Maseko's place as grad assistant so we'll see her around for the next 2 years..

She came to us 4 years ago as a raw center with lots to work on.

Tony and staff made her into a starter and an every game contributor.. Her 4 year progress ranks up there with the biggest transformations I've seen at Seton Hall.

Donald Copeland is probably the all time most improved. But Chizzy is at the next tier.

Loved Copeland. He and JT served us very well after the Sha and Barrett eras. Would love to find another diamond in the rough like him.
