
Pirates Visit DePaul for BIG EAST Tilt in the Windy City - Seton Hall University Athletics
The Seton Hall softball team begins its sixth weekend of the season with a three-game road tilt against DePaul.

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall softball team (10-9, 3-0 BIG EAST) begins its sixth weekend of the season on Friday, March 14, with a three-game road tilt against DePaul (10-11, 0-3 BIG EAST) in Chicago, Illinois. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
Week Five Weekend Recap: Pirates Besiege Georgetown in BIG EAST-Opening Sweep
After claiming a mid-week victory in the home opener over Rutgers, the Pirates returned to Mike Sheppard Sr. Field to open BIG EAST play against Georgetown. Going into the weekend, the Pirates won nine of their last eleven games against the Hoyas. This past weekend was no different for the Pirates.
In the series opener, a pair of home runs by Taylor Hill and Kelsey Carr, in addition to Carr's complete game, earned The Hall a 5-3 victory to start the three-game tilt. The Pirates offense flourished in the second game, collected a 10-2 victory in five innings that was headlined by a three-RBI performance from Olivia Gilbert. The Pirates closed out the weekend with a series sweep after a dominant 14-6 victory in five innings over the Hoyas. In that final win, Hannah Alexander hit two home runs 7 RBI, tying the program record for most RBI in a single game.
