On the contrary, @donnie_baseball was a fairly strong Willard supporter, so I'd take this as a statement of his belief more than a cheap shot at the former coach. So it's on the level.

I supported KW to the end, and give him credit for his many successes here. But I do feel as though Sha has recruiting (though that's out the window) and coaching chops that Kevin didn't.

Unfortunately the recruiting comparison seems destined to be one of apples-to-oranges given the tectonic shift in the sport these past three years. If somehow things were to regain their previous equilibrium, I'd be inclined to agree.
