I am not sure how this would be legal, but this is clear discrimination and segregation. The more we elevate one race the more we start violating civil rights of everyone else.

You know the answer. This is rooted in white supremacy. This is a Trojan horse trying to make it look like people of color have more rights but deep seeded in the law is an attempt to make people of color unsafe from not wearing a mask.

Preventive measures should be taken across all communities. I am personally in favor of masking among strangers in indoor settings and masking outdoors if you are 6 feet away from someone...covid 19 should not be made into a race issue by either side or politized but unfortunately it has been

They saw that some black people were worried that wearing a mask would cause police to identify them as a threat and caved.

While i am staten island born i moved to NJ 30 plus years ago. I met bobbie on campus. Again he and i are different. He has strong beliefs with passion for his political position.

I get that, but any ten year old would tell you this is beyond stupid. Especially when the AA community has a higher infection, hospitalization and death rates. The 1% of the AA county population is infinitely more at risk from dying of COVID rather than a police misidentification.
