This president is honestly very underrated. Please see below for President Biden's accomplishments. Very impressive. I would love to see this list for Trump. Read "that uncle" this list when he goes after you for this President!

Yet the majority of his own party doesn’t want him to run in 2024….but he’s doing a great job….lol

He is doing a great job. Look at the mess this country was in during Trump's final days. Trump led his supporters to a insurrection of the capital building and the president knew about the plans beforehand.

They don't want him to run because he will be 82.

And if President Biden gets us out of inflation in the next two years and goes against Trump. It would be an absolute Blue wave. If Trump runs he will get crushed by any candidate. This country cannot stand Trump anymore. Trump impacted the GOP bigly this time around. And the GOP will never learn its lesson.

Yes. Because this white house actually tells the truth based on facts. Unlike the last administration.
One thing for sure he passed a infrastructure bill that helps many states red and blue.A Bill that trump ran on and couldn't get passed with both houses R in his 1st 2yrs.

No. Manipulation is more like it. Misusing the Strategic reserves to lower gas prices for the midterms is not a win. Its desperation.
Leaving stockpiles of weapons and cash for the Taliban is unbelievably irresponsible.
Trying to cozy up with Iran while they continue to misbehave is stupid.

So you can’t answer about Biden…got it.

You can’t answer a question about Biden without bringing up Trump. Classic TDS.

You never commented on my point about January 6th. Don't you think it's a disgrace the former President knew ahead of time that his supporters were planning to storm the capital? Don't you think its a disgrace he didn't try to stop it? Don't you think its a disgrace he encouraged this the say of his Jan 6th speech?

Sounds like they’re inviting conflict at the table. Nice job uniting us.
Ron Klain is one of the biggest political hacks of this generation. The first point is a total lie - he has not done anything to tackle inflation. #2, another misleading statement. Healthcare costs only keep increasing. Couldn't care less about "gun safety legislation." That's code for the government moving closer to the goal of taking guns away.

No taxes on people making above $400K? That's an....interesting statement.

Fact check. Gas prices are indeed going down.

Inflation overall like price controls, no. Nor should he.
Has taken steps to reduce gas prices and focused on supply chain issues but that’s a longer term plan.

On healthcare, the law he passed was meaningful to millions of Americans. Just because you’re not in that group doesn’t mean it’s not a good thing.

There were some accomplishments and there are some areas for criticisms. May your thanksgivings mention none of it.

When did you ask me that?

Maybe if he even acknowledged that there was an inflation problem instead of calling it transitory?

Good lord. You’re still talking about comments made a year and a half ago before there was a war causing all kids of global disruptions. Circumstances changed.

No, inflation was spiraling out of control with or without the war.

There are three primary drivers of the current inflation problem:
1) Supply chain problems caused by global governments shutting down their economies in 2020
2) Surging demand as a result of the global shutdowns in 2020. This led to pent up demand in 2021 and 2022 when supply chains could not handle it.
3) Negligence on the part of the Federal Reserve. Interests rates were too low for too long and they cut them again in 2020. Now they're playing catch up to where rates should have been in the late 2010's.

Isn’t that the point? Totally misread the inflation and kept doing it.

We expected short term inflation due to demand and supply chain issues. We can live through a period of 4-5% inflation after it has been flat for so long without much of an issue. That would have been fine. Agree on interest rates.

What we did not expect was a war which has caused global disruptions and inflation everywhere.

number one for sure. Two is really the same as one. Three is arguable but not the cause of inflation just that the Fed did not react sooner.
there are two things that people complain the most. That food prices and gas prices. But global drought including this country is a huge factor with food prices. Then let’s add in the war in Ukraine which is the breadbasket of the world. those are the two biggest factors with food. In addition, gas consumption has risen back to prepandemic levels but production has not. OPEC actually will be cutting it more. Plus the war in Ukraine and you have gas price inflation.

However, if inflstion keeps going down, without sending the country into a big recession, then that will be a huge accomplishment. A soft landing would be a spectacular accomplishment.

The general point was don’t recognize the problem until it looks better for us. It’s not a problem. It’s not a problem. It’s not a problem. Oh look at how we solved the problem. In their eyes it was never a problem, yet now they solved a problem that they never admitted to the American people existed.

Kind of like the border crisis??

We were always going to have inflation after the pandemic. Things were exacerbated by things that you can’t control like the war and global drought. But, if you compare the US to all the other countries, we are in a far better position. But let’s not talk about the US economy compared to the globe. That just May show that the US is doing something right.

You keep bringing up the war and drought but both have had the least amount of impact on inflation.

We were always going to have inflation. Great. But just admit to the people this a real issue. Not some transitory problem for months and months, then when it goes down, oh yeah it was a real problem, but we'll only admit it because it looks good for us now.

With national debt at 30 trillion plus and neither party willing to seriously attempt to reduce it inflation will be a long term issue.Taxes will have to go up or the dollar will have to be devalued because spending will not decrease.Interest on debt in for huge increase as federal funds rate goes up and treasury auction rates rise.If there is not a willingness to raise taxes or cut spending we will need to print money to pay off debt and we should start doing that before it gets to 50 or 60 trillion where devaluation of dollar ( aka inflation) will be disastrous. Not specific to Biden and it will be around longer than him but it could reset our economy in a turbulent way if we don start addressing.

That’s because we run the country like a late-teen college student with his first credit card. The country spends way beyond our means.

Wouldn’t it be refreshing to see a reduction of the national debt one year? There’s not even an attempt to balance a budget much less run a surplus.

Ask Clinton. The last president to balance a budget and left office with a surplus.
