NIL + Bad Recruiting + Horrible Coaching = THIS
We are probably at the midway point in the Sha tenure at minimum. In my opinion they need to establish some short term goals and a long term plan to dig out of this mess. At this point I guess winning one or two games at the BigEast Tournament could be the topline. Play the young guys as others have suggested.
We must have a realistic goal for the 2025 Transfer Portal NIL. What is the number? Is it 2 million? Whatever it is, let's get to it. Sha would do himself a favor by brining in a former successful coach as a bench assistant. The staff must focus on higher basketball IQ players moving forward. Personally, I don't want to lose Coleman, but would do so to bring in a top tier PG. It's that important to success. Makeshift snd serviceable are a recipe for the failure we are seeing.
