Question for DC area pirate fans

My wife and I are in DC for the weekend. Considering the 11 AM start for the game tomorrow, I'd like a good suggestion for a bar or restaurant that would put on Fox sports 1 for us. The early start time is what bothers me, bc alot of places might not even be open at that time.

Google maps "bars in Washington DC". Usually hours are provided if you click on the red dot or go to that bar's website to check for their hours.

What area are you in? Georgetown? Adams Morgan? Foggy Bottom? Do you care how far you need to go?

Checkout Penn Quarter Sports Tavern. I believe they open at 11AM.

I'm gonna try calling a spot in DuPont Circle another SHU fan recommended to me earlier (Buffalo Billiards) & if that's a bust I'll try Penn Quarter. I don't care how far I have to go really. Staying near the White House.

Buffalo Billiards is a good spot and I've watched SHU games there while visiting family in the past. Penn Quarter used to be the unofficial gathering spot to watch SHU games, but I'm not sure if that's still the case. RFD in Chinatown is where the alumni pregame parties are held before SHU plays at Georgetown and that's a good spot to watch the game as well.

We had the SHU watch party last year at Crystal City Sports Pub. http://www.ccsportspub.com/Home

The food is nothing to write home about (typical sports pub grub), but it is a huge place with plenty of TVs.

Ended up walking over to RFD after trying Penn Quarter. Penn Quarter couldn't find the remote for the TVs after we called ahead & they said no problem. Missed the first 14 minutes of the game. Unbelievable. Buffalo Billiards didn't pick up the phone so I didn't want to risk it. Ugh!
