I think we've given up on recruiting HS players. Now that the 5th year players are finishing up, HS recruiting is regaining relevance. As a result we have no 2025 commits while nearly every BE school has 1 or more top 100 players committed.

I was wondering if we had any commits but figured we didn’t. If Shaheen wants to do this long game development of coaching he’d be better off getting low level high schoolers and convincing them to stay 2-3 years. Maybe we’d have a good team once every 4 years then.

The transfer portal is a cesspool of selfish players that don’t know what they’re doing and likely don’t care once the check clears.
