I have noticed that during the National Anthem that Sanders wears his hood over his head every game. I was just wondering what cause he is supporting?
A disrespectful onelet it be - he is a kid
Actually noticed the same thing for some time. Don’t like it either.I have noticed that during the National Anthem that Sanders wears his hood over his head every game. I was just wondering what cause he is supporting?
Total loser u are. Get a lifeI have noticed that during the National Anthem that Sanders wears his hood over his head every game. I was just wondering what cause he is supporting?
I don’t think wearing your hood over your head obviously means he wants attention for some kind of cause. You may be right, but more likely you’re reading far too much into itBy wearing his hood over his head during the Nation Anthem he obviously wants attention for some kind of cause, and I would assume that he would welcome the discussion about the cause that he is trying to bring light to. Maybe my post can help him accomplish this.
Your screen name alludes that you are patriotic. I am interested as to why you would want to get rid of the National Anthem.im on board for getting rid of the nation anthem before games
Idiotim on board for getting rid of the nation anthem before games
Shockerim on board for getting rid of the nation anthem before games
Yes, 100%. When the announces says “all rise and remove your hats for the playing of our National Anthem” and he keeps his hat/hood on. That is disrespectful to our country. So wearing a hat or hood makes u disrespect the country? He wears his hood even on the bench. Relax wackos
What a bunch of idiots with nothing better to say.Life Off the Ship in 3, 2, 1....
Maybe he misunderstood the instructions? After all, he asked him to remove his cap, not his hood.Yes, 100%. When the announces says “all raise and remove your hats for the playing of our National Anthem” and he keeps his hat/hood on. That is disrespectful to our country.

This statement makes me sick. Your true colors have just been exposed. It's unnecessary. It promotes false nationalism. No byline says we have to do it. Aside from international competitions, I don't know of a single country that does this on any league level.
I love this country I'm born and raised in. Why should me or any athlete be forced to demonstrate this?
Can you elaborate? Too many educated people, like yourself, here for quick 1 sentence takes and I'm only here until this gets moved to LOTSThis statement makes me sick
That logic goes both ways. What about the people who enjoy it? Why do they have to give it up because a small number don’t want it? People who want to enjoy it can get there for it and the people who don’t enjoy it can wait outside until it’s over. Nobody is holding a gun to their head to get in the building for it. Everyone is happy. What’s next? Why does the school force cheerleaders on us? Why do they force certain music on us during tv timeouts? It's unnecessary. It promotes false nationalism. Then stand there and enjoy it and don't worry about irrelevant things like what someone else is wearing. Leaving a hood up isn't disruptive and doesn't impact your experience enjoying the anthem. I get as annoyed as anyone at the people who occasionally decide to shout something during the anthem (as that's clearly disruptive), but this? Just do your thing and let him do his. That logic goes both ways. What about the people who enjoy it? Why do they have to give it up because a small number don’t want it? Don’t sit. Wait outside. Would you go into a temple and do something that those who belong to the temple view as disrespectful. Why would you walk in and sit during the anthem? Stay outside. That's fine. If you wanna stand for the anthem, feel free to do so. If you wanna sit for the anthem, do it. I understand the people who talk during the anthem, I'm not a fan of that. But it's a choice. Freedom of choice.
But if tomorrow, the anthem wasn't played at the game, it's not the end of the world
Where’s the line of we all do our own thing stops and we worry about being respectful to others. As I just mentioned you wouldn’t go into a temple and do something that they view as disrespectful and tell people just enjoy your experience, I’m being me. I’m not Canadian but I stand for their anthem at hockey games because it’s respectful to those in the building who are. It’s really not a difficult task. Then stand there and enjoy it and don't worry about irrelevant things like what someone else is wearing. So instead of enjoying a conference win where we played well especially after how poorly we played against Creighton what we find to talk about is a player wearing a hood and when he wears it.
I draw the line at being disruptive.Where’s the line of we all do our own thing stops and we worry about being respectful to others. As I just mentioned you wouldn’t go into a temple and do something that they view as disrespectful and tell people just enjoy your experience, I’m being me.
1. Choose to stand for 40 minutes. Let me know how it goes.1) yeah. You could never tell me what to do with my paying ticket as long as I'm not disturbing the peace, I can sit or stand as I choose. I wouldn't tell you what to do either. It's called respecting one's space.
2) again, back to my original post, what's the prereq and or byline that says I HAVE to?
3) I'll address the actual main topic. That is such a huge reach. Please show me the law that shows the dress code and mandates for the anthem. Please.
I do the same but they stand when we stand, they sit when we sit, they even kneel when we kneel.I've brought non-catholic friends to mass before and they would choose to sit quietly and observe, but not participate. Nobody ever has a problem with that.
I see some that do and some that don't. My only position there would be to at least bow their head while we're kneeling so not to block the view of the person kneeling behind them.I do the same but they stand when we stand, they sit when we sit, they even kneel when we kneel.
