What point? The world is thin skinned worried about Trump, but the people influencing our kids talking about drugs, popping pills, and living life buzzed get a pass. Time for people to wake up.

As there is a degree of depravity in mankind which requires a certain degree of circumspection and distrust: So there are other qualities in human nature, which justify a certain portion of esteem and confidence. Comedy Central programming presupposes the existence of these qualities in a higher degree than any other form.
I’m so offended by Trump. Thank God social media took him down. I’m so offended by Gone with the Wind. Thank God they took it off TV. Let me go watch South Park.

I am not offended by Trump, found him to be entertaining before running for office. I didn’t like him, but I wasn’t offended. He was a fascinating idiot on Howard Stern. Expansion, I am not offended by Howard Stern. Or Sean Hannity. Or Anderson Cooper. Or Tucker Carlson, though I think he’s a first class douche nozzle.
I am offended by the POTUS openly mocking a disabled person at a press conference. I don’t find that to be the proper behavior of the office. There are plenty of other acts I can point to, from the minor like every political opponent having a derogatory nickname to, you know, inciting an insurrection through the propagation of continual lies.
I am not offended by South Park. I know what it is and watch it as such.

Now you’re not offended by Trump. Ok. I don’t follow you’re logic of responding once, let alone 10 times, if you’re not offended by Trump. Are you really blown away that someone can be offended by the actions of President Trump but not offended by South Park or the actions of Donald Trump pre-presidency talking about tits and ass and beauty contests? That someone might have expected different behavior from the President of the United States? That someone would have expected something to click in his mind that he should act differently as the POTUS than when he was on the apprentice or Howard stern? That maybe he would have been expected to evolve as the President? I didn’t expect it, but I had hoped it. And I knew it was lost the second he abandoned the Twitter handle of @POTUS for @thereal****ingstupiddonaldtrump. He was bigger than the office, in his mind. And he proved it over and over.

Agreed, Trump is/was a first class asshole who tarnished the presidency. SHUHOOPS is right that society is going down the gutter though. How many parents let their kids watch complete trash on tv, listen to hollywood stars teach their kids immoral stuff, all while losing their shit over trump.

Very different world. My kindergarteners have school issued iPads but they don't know how to add apps. We're considering getting them their own soon, but will keep under lock and key with approved time and we'll control apps. As they age, will obviously be challenged.
And I didn't have a cell phone until after graduation.

I hear ya. Some parents, good ones I might add, are intentional exposing their kids too all kinds of tech, teaching them the risks along the way. They do this they say because it’s unavoidable and they want to get ahead of the curve, teach them at an early age before they are 13 and they are bullied on Instagram or something. These same parents monitor as best they can. Somewhat related they often complain about the absurdly dumb and often inappropriate “kids” shows on Netflix. Lol, as a lot of that content comes from other countries, I heard one parent say it’s a conspiracy to make our kids dumb. Got a kick out of that one. I have 3 kids FWIW

If you speak to just about any expert on childhood mental health or the tech executives that were interviewed in Social Dilemma, there is absolutely no reason for a child to have a smart phone before the are in high school. Most experts say 16 should be the age....I believe average age now is 10.
I had to use a pay phone quite a few times when I was out as a child. I’m curious if the removal of pay phones has anything to do with kids having cell phones. Consequently kids get a cell phone, then get addicted to everything about it. The dominos fall and now that they have a cell they don’t go out to play nearly as much. Not sure if there’s any correlation but from my own personal experiences having to use a pay phone, it’s available at any point in time for whatever reason was important.
I didn’t even mention Trump supporters. I DID mention in general a Republicans... meaning the politicians not the general populace... because they are the ones who will not vote to impeach...despite the obvious damning evidence.
The former president was already impeached. Twice, in fact.
