Scottie Middleton to…

There is a lot of talent in him. Could see it in spurts. Hopefully some coach will unearth it so he can have a long playing career overseas

I’m a Tulane alum so watch a lot of their games, and think he will thrive in their system. Lots of drive and kick outs and reverse the court movement should set him up for open 3 looks.

Is Brumbaugh in the portal or did he stay? Scottie could benefit playing alongside him

Brumbaugh is coming back, but they lost a couple of good players, one of which (Kaleb Banks) is actually going to DePaul.

And Kam Williams who left for Kentucky. Scotty M, or at least the ideal version out of prep, profiles kind of like Kam Williams as I think about it.

DePaul and Holltzman are doing a real nice job steadily upgrading the roster.

Khaman Maker, who is leaving St John’s because of Iwuchukwu and Prey are returning and are ahead of him on depth chart, is a 7’2 4-star freshman who could offer a lot initially on defensive end for the Blue Demons.

why do people think we would be better in a lower league. we lose the BE and we lose one hell of a lot. so then we have a tiny campus by nwk and we play in walsh and are on tv once in a while and if we play a p5 team they kill us. oh boy, how fantastic.
Because when the Big east TV deal is up we won’t be invited to the big boys table at realignment

That would be the basketball program equivalent to death by lethal injection.

that’s all she wrote if that were to happen. Prayers it won’t. Never coming back from a conference downgrade by choice.

We had ONE HORRENDOUS YEAR. We have pretty much dominated DePaul, SJU, G Town and Butler for a long time and have stayed pretty much even with Providence , talk to me when we repeat this type of year and to many of you we already have . Sounds like many of you want to fail so that you can brag about how right you were,

Yea I think all the “drop down” stuff is crazy talk. If it turns out because of realignment or whatever we end up in a lower level league I will still be just as much a fan, but no one should want that nor do I even expect that will ever happen.

Exactly. DePaul has been horrendous for many years and are finally starting to see some momentum in the right direction. I don’t think they were ever considering leaving the conference all these years.

WHY SHOULD WE!?!?!

If anything, I’d like to get rid of some of the “fan” base and get some new blood, lose the doom and gloom crowd.
