South Orange, N.J. - On January 18, Seton Hall Athletics inducted its Hall of Fame Class of 2025, and it was a special day as the department enshrined the four Seton Hall baseball teams that advanced to the College World Series: 1964, 1971, 1974 and 1975. The ceremony took place on campus at a standing-room only University Center Event Room and then the inductees were invited to be honored at halftime of the Seton Hall vs. St. John's men's basketball game at Prudential Center.

The event had extra significance as it also served as the baseball team's First Pitch Dinner, allowing the team's current student-athletes to meet and mingle with all the former student-athletes who reached Omaha in their heyday.

Seton Hall Athletics's Hall of Fame now stands at 259 individuals and six teams. The only six teams inducted are:
  • 1988-89 Men's Basketball Team (Inducted in 2014)
  • 1952-53 Men's Basketball Team (Inducted in 2017)
  • 1964 Baseball Team (Inducted in 2025)
  • 1971 Baseball Team (Inducted in 2025)
  • 1974 Baseball Team (Inducted in 2025)
  • 1975 Baseball Team (Inducted in 2025)

Full biographies on all Hall of Famers can be viewed at SHUPirates.com and in the Seton Hall Athletics Hall of Fame area in the Richie Regan Recreation & Athletic Center. The induction ceremony plus interviews are also now available to watch on YouTube.

Too bad names weren't attached, but that would have been a project. I recognized only two guys.
