Seton Hall almost certainly won't get an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament, so they need to earn an automatic bid by winning the Big East tournament.
As for an automatic bid ... we don't see it happening. There's always next year.

It’s beyond disappointing to be at the bottom of the league this quickly after what’s been such a good run for nearly 10 years. And to have it this bad with so much season left makes it even worse.

The lack/slowness of NIL adoption and marketing was a key indicator that has definitely contributed to this. And Sha has not managed the roster well in this difficult time as a result. Hoping this is a wake up call to the Administration and they get Sha some help ($) and provide some much needed guidance on how things need to change in this new era. Gotta market to current and future players now and tell them what the long term plan and SHU brand is as much as NIL donors and fans.

Someone needs to explain to me why the "NIL Problem" was the reason why we lost to 4 teams that have NO MONEY!

My perspective is that Shaheen and his coaching staff gambled to use NIL to select 3+ star athletic bodies that if all went well could get them to be a bubble team, rather than to take 2+ star skilled, but unathletic talent, that would have a much better bar to avoid the 10/11 position and Tier 4 loses, but never be able to reach one of the top 6 spots.

Obviously, the staff failed to judge the talent and cohesiveness effectively, and building the staffs eye in creating an effective core of 8 players, beyond raising cash for 24-25 is critical to survive going forward.

Because it's not only the NIL this year and I don't think anyone reasonable is denying that. This team is 288th in OE, 334th in EFG%, 355th in 2PT%, 345th in FT%, 286th in turnover rate, 327th in non-steal turnover rate, 351st in tempo, and yet 24th in bench minutes %, you've also got a basketball problem.

Those losses are what's made it insufferable. Flip the games against Monmouth, Hofstra, and Fordham and it's still not good at 8-6, 0-3 with the Georgetown fiasco, but it's not a disaster as you have 0 Q4 losses instead of 3, have the VCU win, and you're still hoping for a season in the BE.

This makes sense. Probably not a bad idea to bring in younger guys who were highly rated out of high school. Just hope they can improve and we can keep the guys we want.

At least they’re consistent. 😵‍💫
