This is NOT the biggest issue. What has made the guard play look worse than it is may be NOT having any low post defense or offense. We have pretty much no interior presence. That is obvious based on the games to date. Just watch in future games how we are destroyed in the post. We will be destroyed by Creighton, UCONN etc..
Meanwhile we have a 7'2" kid riding the pines. From his HS videos he should have been in there from game one until he fouled out. Sure he may not be skilled as we would want but he has to be better than what Sha has put out there so far. Let him play a one man low post zone! Unless he is injured no excuse!
Do I have to teach Sha how to develop a low post player?
Someone on Hall Line called up after the game and mentioned the transfer out of EHE and how nice he would look on our team this year. He’s right. Wasn’t it that Sha couldn’t guarantee him the starting job and he transferred to JMU? He would be our best big BY FAR on this roster and he wasn’t exactly the most polished big man we’ve ever seen. Sha doing Sha things.
