We can complain about the whistles, but the refs didn't force our guys to chuck up bad 3's in the first 5 seconds of each possession the last 2 trips
We let the refs get into our heads and completely implode our game plan.
Gone was the zone defense, playing the passing lanes, and working the ball around patiently on offense .
Frustrating but understandable.
Need to settle down at the half and get back to formula that worked .
Don't think the refs will be so blatant again if Maryland falls behind one more time .

Should be up but I would have taken down 4 at the half before the game started. With that being said the shot selection has to be better. The officiating is absolutely horrendous but have no answer for bruno
I find it difficult to believe Maryland is that perfect defensively. The committed zero fouls underneath. Out of their 4 fouls, 1 was offensive, 1 was at the top at the end with Thompson, 1 was on a drive by Powell.
That being said, the defense has had a lot of blown assignments all over the place. It seems when we switch off, we don't fully rotate to the weak side. That's killed us a few times.

Slow it down. Fernando is going to score. So we need a huge offensive half.
Mike Nzei was able to get quality shots when they fed him. So that is an option too.

When we were up we turned them over a lot and could not score on the TOs. We turned it over a lot with bad passes and took some dumb shots. Playing with the lead is something we do not do well. We should have been up 20. Now have to dig back in, double their big and hope they don’t hit from the outside. Mamu and Cale got hammered going inside and no foul calls. Result is we are in foul trouble and they are not. Tough whistle so far but we had the opportunity to be up by so much more. Stuck on 16 pts then 18 for too long in that half.
He insists on launching those silly 3 point shots that he has no business taking.
