Yes, except mine is based on every NBA mock I’ve seen over the past two years.
So people you root for you have to tell them to their face, but guys you don't root for you can remain anonymous? Just checking how it works in your world? I don't remember this approach in the Willard years.
Dre is not an NBA player. Him staying at seton hall for one more year would not have changed that.
Kadary has been asked to do less based on the talent around him and minimal competition thus far. KR showing he can operate as a facilitator and roll player is more valuable to his NBA potential than him staying at seton hall and being the alpha- something he would have not shot of in the league

Ivy is right, I guess, that we will never know for sure. But there are lots of things we will never know for sure that we can still accept as basically true.
Luke Garza was a two time first team all American and big 10 player of the year. He put up insane stats as a junior for Iowa and came back because he wasn’t getting drafted. He then puts up insane stats as a senior and wins national player of the year, consensus I think. And he gets picked 52nd. Despite having size and obvious skill for a big.
And we are supposed to think Dre coming back and scoring some more here would result in him shooting in NBA draft boards?
Sure, it’s all speculation, but we saw 20ppg scorers in Powell / Howard go undrafted. They lacked the height and athleticism to make it in the NBA. Dre has the height, not the athleticism of the league. It’s pretty much set in stone he wasn’t going to the NBA
what about jared rhoden? dre is more comparable to him. nobody thought he had even a remote chance but he got minutes.

Dre Davis will be making more at Ole Miss this season than Rhoden will in the G league
Bottom line is you gotta take the money when it’s there. All this other posturing for future earnings is a distant second, if even on the radar. A team offers you $800k+ or $1M+ which is hundreds of thousands more than your current team does, you take it and run. Fans tend to make it more complicated but this has become a largely transactional sport. I am sure there are some emotions and pull where maybe a competitive offer could sway, but ultimately cash is king.
I can’t imagine Davis or Richmond sitting here plotting out what would be more beneficial and leaving hundreds of thousands on the table. Then risk injury, etc.

I was being sarcastic that the guys were debating Davis draft stock increasing staying here not about making the g league
Also I don’t think Davis got as much as was reported here, from what I heard..but still yes you’re right more than Rhoden has probably made
didnt get drafted but was getting minutes on an nba two way contract which i'm sure dre would take in a heartbeat and was something the fans never expected.
i would compare dres pro prospects to rhoden before i would compare him to luka garza though im sure you're going to find some way to argue that
FWIW, Garza is on a full NBA contract and has played nearly three times the number of NBA games as Rhoden so the latter would be the more apt comparison.
No idc just pointing out how irrelevant all that is to their discussion on him being drafted

being drafted is irrelevant to playing in the nba, which is really what the discussion is about. getting drafted is nice , but our last drafted guy lasted as long as our u drafted guys
yea i mean garza is easily the better player even in the nba. but the gap between what one might expect based on their college careers is not that wide.
i dont see rhoden sticking around. if he can't get on the floor in charlotte and detroit then it's not lookin good

His team is ranked this week. They've played nobody and blew out everyone with maybe the weakest schedule in the country but he's going to bank on high NET and power conference wins. I'm rooting for him down there, hope he does well. Especially since we're so bad.

being invited to the combined, workouts, summer league would mean they shot up on the draft board. just not high enough for top 60.
their freshman year at shu they were so far off the radar it would be laughable to even mention their names in the same sentence as nba.
so yea the point stands. the point i was also making in response to luka garza is that it goes both ways. some guys have all the accolades and don't move up on the draft board while others get drafted that you don't even know of.

Our last drafted guy is in his fourth year in the league, his second on a full NBA contract and has played 50% more games than the guy picked two places ahead of him, Luka Garza.
Comparing Sandro to any of our other recent "NBA" players does Sandro a disservice because at minimum he's established himself as some team's end of rotation player.
