Sha quote book

Really disappointed that Jenkins isn’t going to be back, at least it seems that way. He would’ve helped a lot today.

It's amazing that it took Whalen 28 games to draw up pick and rolls
What is the point of this statement?

Whalen knows how to draw up pick and rolls. The players know how to run pick and rolls. Are you saying Sha focused so much on defense early on that it took way too long to get the offense installed? That’s a valid criticism, but I think you are better than this nonsensical post

We were 70th in offensive efficiency last year, 33rd in defensive efficiency. We're 309th and 83rd in those two this year, respectively. We forgot how to coach?

We haven't had the semblance of an offense in 2-3 years. I saw actual plays, movement, and passing yesterday -- after 28 games. Including numerous open pick and rolls, which I have rarely seen over the past 2-3 years.

That's because Kadary and Dre were efficient going 1v1 last year. But the offense still wasn't good.

What is the point of Jenkins even coming back at this point? He is not in our future plans, I would rather roll with what we have and give the young guys more audtion time

I don’t think it matters either way. We have 3, maybe 4 games left at most.

Yeah it would've certainly helped to have had a capable outside shooter to balance the floor with Coleman. But even when Jenkins played we had to run him at PG, we had to work him like a dog to get shots, it just didn't work this year with the misfit pieces.

The team has been better lately against the better part of the Big East and we're losing more competitively. Maybe Sha and everyone can take a bow. But it's all relative; it's still bad! The pieces we accumulated were not good enough. The coaching was not good and seemed totally distraught trying to figure out what they had. We knew there was trouble right off the bat with how we were playing. You don't look THAT bad and incapable of breaking 60 points and losing home games to Fordham and Monmouth.

Again, you're 1-10 against Fordham, Hofstra, Monmouth, DePaul (2-16), Georgetown (7-11), Providence (6-12), and Butler (6-12). That's freaking terrible.

Best passing that I have seen all year. They attacked the basket and played good D. The guys are not quitting. I have to admire that.
You saw the same team I did. We were in the game until the last 3-4 minutes against a team with far greater talent. Sad that it took so incredibly long to get there, but best 2 halves we have put together all year against good competition (and in this case top 10).

Point is he can give the starters a bit of a rest. Major issue right now.

Jenkins gave us one of the only good memories of this season going MJ mode against VCU in the 2nd half/OT. VCU is 24-5, incredible that we beat them.

Also have to think that if he stayed healthy Jenkins would’ve had a few more of those games in him. Not that it would’ve changed the ultimate outcome of the season, but he definitely could’ve made a difference in some of our close losses where we just couldn’t score.

Yes, having a third scoring option would have been huge. Opens up driving lanes, inside play and just makes it easier for everyone to score. Not to mention his excellent FT shooting. Mother Seton, gotta help us more next year!😁
