They ALL should take pay cuts ( players ) including Coleman and Sha should take $ 1,000,000 of his pay and put it towards player acquisition/increased athletic department revenue.

They have some talented kids, no question, but they were picked 5th preseason by the league's coaches, despite having a HC who every other HC in the league acknowledges is top notch, upper-upper shelf. Think of all the posts here about all the "warts" with that team, whether it be lack of outside shooting, 2 PGs who would be "fighting over the ball", lack of an interior presence (Zuby has now been developed into one), no winning culture, a completely new starting 5, and all the supposed chemistry problems they were going to have. Most all of those "warts" still exist and could still surface.
All of that is why they were picked 5th preseason despite having a HOFer on the bench who for 40+ years has done nothing but win at every level collegiately.
The post I responded to said that a "high school" coach could win with them. Nonsense. How many talented teams in the portal/NIL era have we seen go off the rails, including teams with way more talent than they have? They aren't more talented than several others teams in our league, forget about the country.
The whole narrative is because of PDS and folks not liking Pitino. He's done a terrific job with that team to date. None of the so-called "chemistry" problems have surfaced, and he has kids being unselfish and foregoing offensive stats to play terrific team defense and attack the boards, which isn't easy to do in this era.
