Lots of post election analysis to digest. IMO there were multiple reasons why dems tanked. All the obvious ones; economy, border, DEI, wokeness factor,etc, etc. One reason I haven't seen much of on this board is the way that the dems have gone after Trump since the time he came down the levator in Trump Tower. 9 years!!!!! of mostly contrived allegations.
Love or hate Trump, you have got to admit they treated him in a deplorable manner. The two impeachments based on very very questionable premises..... all of the legal issues that they tried to bury him with. I think that people realize how undemocratic the democrat party has been for the last 9 years which somehow allowed the progressive party to thrive. An alternate untrue reality was created. Of course you'll hardly find a dem who will admit to this.... there are some... but while it was never listed as a major priority item in voters' minds. There's no question it was a lingering stench that helped push the vote RED.
