No way they would. Why would you this era of college hoops where it is year to year, and why is any kid going to risk injury by playing in those games.

We have been told for the past year here, and again today, that our fan base needs to keeping paying $$$ for us to succeed, whether that’s true or not. So yes that is exactly what it is.

Have you seen the college football bowl season? So many kids opt out in their own after not making the college football playoff. Look at Florida State and the 20+ players that opted out. The top players only care about money and winning championships. They won’t won’t their money at risk (draft status) for a consolation prize.

Could see the same thing with teams that get the invite to the NIT.

Free college education not enough anymore. All about extra NIL $$. The big name players used to get benefits but it is out of control now. Most top players don’t want to play in NIT. Sad but true.
