The lack of offense from our bench. Sanders, Brown providing next to nothing.
Brown is young, but Sanders seems lost. And Nganga playing ahead today ahead of Tubek? The lack of offense from our bench. Sanders, Brown providing next to nothing.
Tubek was injuredBrown is young, but Sanders seems lost. And Nganga playing ahead today ahead of Tubek?
The silver lining for me is it makes losing easier to handle. It was always Kadary or bust. We’re now seeing what life is like without him. It’s not pretty. I really hope we see him back in action soon because he deserves the opportunity to lead this team to the next level. He’s that good. If he’s done for the year, it’ll be yet again one of those “we’ll never know” type of seasons.I don’t think there’s anything concerning. What we’re watching is what was going to happen if Kadary went down. I thought we’d lose by less than 18 but not win under any circumstances. We’re talking about the player that leads the BE in usage and % of shots. The line today was 10 for a reason.
We blew 2 home games. That’s the kicker rn.
Your 3PT threat has to play PG and you’re then kicking a bench up a notch that doesn’t have BE players in the backcourt rn. When does that ever work??
He's injured a lot, isn't he?Tubek was injured
Another one of those guys. How do you get injured when you don’t play to begin with. So ridiculousTubek was injured
He did it in practice. I’d like to you or other “tough guys” on this message board handle a Shaheen practice.Another one of those guys. How do you get injured when you don’t play to begin with. So ridiculous
Brown, NgaNga, Ozdogan aren’t ready to even be backups in the BE. Sha won’t even play them unless it’s dire. Tubek is never healthy. Sha’s willing to play him more at least. Sanders didn’t look BE ready last year. And I don’t see any improvement this year. Yet he’s playing backup minutes by default. The lack of offense from our bench. Sanders, Brown providing next to nothing.
He had a stretch where he put up two bad shits and a bad pass all right in a row. He looks worse than last year. At least last year, he could make a shot.Sanders has been a disappointment.A Player of the Year in the State of NY should be at least a solid man in the rotation in his Soph year.
Did he change his shorts? He had a stretch where he put up two bad shits and a bad pass all right in a row. He looks worse than last year. At least last year, he could make a shot.
Didn’t help much in the OOC either. The Neptune experiment hasn’t worked out.Want a quality bench? Need NIL $$$. Look at Nova: Bamba, Hart, Burton, Ware. Although, so far it hasn’t helped that much in BE play.
U dont fly w certain injuries. Stop saying stupid shit to fuel allegations. Hes not a cheerleaderMost concerning thing is Richmond. It's a bizarre situation. Our senior captain couldn't even make the flight to be a leader in the locker room or on the bench. It's gotta be bad. Then again it wasn't so bad to lightly practice Monday and Tuesday
Jay is NOT coming back; this is why he left.Nova alum who bucked up for one of the more well financed NIL collectives in ALL of College Basketball are not going to be happy campers. I could see some outright begging happening to try to get Jay Wright to come back.
I'm sorry no medical staff is clearing an injured player to play. He’s cleared. Theres a difference between injured and hurt. Unless you think our medical staff is a bunch of bozos. Stop calling it an injury.U dont fly w certain injuries. Stop saying stupid shit to fuel allegations. Hes not a cheerleader
I’m beginning to think Tubek is a waste of a scholarshipTubek was injured
I’m still trying to understand how SHU thinks it’s OK to keep season ticket holders and boosters in the dark about the status of a key player. Don’t they feel even the slightest obligation?
Sha’s comments in the presser were ridiculous. Either he really doesn’t know what’s going on with KR which is absurd or be does and he’s lying to the fans. Both options stink to high heaven.
Making a mountain out of a mole hill. If he had travelled to Milwaukee and not played, half the board would have killed him for the two long plane rides when he could have been seriously rehabbing at home. Most concerning thing is Richmond. Ok but everything I read, forget flying, I get the sense the coach thinks he should be playing. I may be dead wrong, but that's the impression I got. Give it a go like Kam Jones did yesterday and if he has to pull him so be it.Making a mountain out of a mole hill. NIL is part of it, but so is player evaluation, recruiting generally, player development and the like. I imagine Bediako didn't cost much NIL-wise. And I'd take a bench full of guys like that at different positions. Even if we had a few more of those the bench would be a massive upgrade. And yes saying that I realized Sha was probably hamstrung a bit in the backcourt because of Kadary's demands.Want a quality bench? Need NIL $$$. Look at Nova: Bamba, Hart, Burton, Ware. I would add coaching to your list. I think Jay could have gotten those guys to mesh by now. BTW, Moore does not look good but will probably go for 20 against us.NIL is part of it, but so is player evaluation, recruiting generally, player development and the like. Agreed. Moore looks like a shell of the player he was pre-injuries. I have to think it is 100% related to the achilles and knee injuries he’s had (I think both but could be remembering wrong).I would add coaching to your list. I don’t disagree that he wouldn’t come back because he doesn’t want to deal with the new world of College Athletics. But, I do think the alum will make a push to give him the right of first refusal if they go HC shopping.Jay is NOT coming back; this is why he left.
Right now I would wager Neptune is not going to be back. Nova boosters are not going to keep contributing six figures for an NIT team.
Turned his ankle in practice. Can't imagine him being unavailable much longer.Wow: again or still?
Without Richmond, on their home court, this could be their Super Bowl. Have to bring intensityJust take care of business tomorrow. We just lost 2/3 to top-15 NET teams, one in 3OT and one in the road.
The home PC loss stings more but likely we were going to have one of those.
Our numbers in the final quarters of these games without Kadary are scary bad. In all phases. If DePaul is allowed to close on us with lesser players than Providence or Marquette, we deserve it. You gotta get this. Find something.Without Richmond, on their home court, this could be their Super Bowl. Have to bring intensity
Luckily for our sake the winless BE team will be missing their leading scorer with a rib injuryOur numbers in the final quarters of these games without Kadary are scary bad. In all phases. We have 4 veteran good players. They all need to play well in the same game. Just beat a winless BE team, is that too much to ask? lol
We can use all the help we can get if we are without Richmond .Luckily for our sake the winless BE team will be missing their leading scorer with a rib injury
The great equalizer, lol.Luckily for our sake the winless BE team will be missing their leading scorer with a rib injury
