Can he get to the rim for us?

We will see. Some of that was the recruiting strategy last year -- Toumi averaged 11 a game at Evansville over 2 years and Jenkins was 16 per game his last season at ODU.Budd Clark averaged 20 a game. Simpkins just under 15. Sha is changing his strategy. Keep bringing in dudes who have shown they can put the ball in basket. Not 4 star projects who averaged 3 a game at a high major.
Yea I mean it is fine for a kid who is really good and high level at everything else, but that's kind of a unique profile you don't usually seelets hope to god this is a backup. sun 30% from 3 as a guard is unacceptable.
Dehere 23 would you respectfully please elaborateYea I mean it is fine for a kid who is really good and high level at everything else, but that's kind of a unique profile you don't usually see
that was our PG profile. its extremely clear last year that we needed shooters. sha told the one we had to walk, and brought in two really terrible shooters.Yea I mean it is fine for a kid who is really good and high level at everything else, but that's kind of a unique profile you don't usually see
Meaning if it is say Kadary Richmond, a unique point-forward/guard type kid who doesn't shoot the 3 well, but kills people in the paint (and this year, 15 feet in), rebounds like a forward, is an excellent passer, is an excellent defender, and causes issues for the other teams with his size and smarts, I'd have no problem if he shoots 26% from 3, especially if you surround him with some players that fit/make sense.Dehere 23 would you respectfully please elaborate
Some other examples - from a different era, John Linehan (my recall is he wasn't a good 3 point shooter or outside shooter generally). Or Posh Alexanders first 2 years at St. John's, where he wasn't a good shooter from the outside but did a lot of other stuff at a high level.Dehere 23 would you respectfully please elaborate

That’s fair. But the question marks remain the same.Budd Clark averaged 20 a game. Simpkins just under 15. Sha is changing his strategy. Keep bringing in dudes who have shown they can put the ball in basket. Not 4 star projects who averaged 3 a game at a high major.
81 % from FT line, so mechanics are good. He gets to the rim and finishes AND makes FTs. This is a good thing. Sha will fix the 3. Can't his brother recommit from Oregon? He shoots it 36% from 3. Maybe TJ is catching up to his twin. He only has played 1 year of D1 ball.He hits ft’s so I like him!
Well Bud Boomer we've got 83 dollars and 64 cents left in the Nil budget, who should we go after. Seriously hope we can afford some bigs. Enjoy your informative and intelligent postsHe put up solid numbers for a freshman, albeit again lower competition. Seems like maybe there’s some upside there. Hopefully, not a budget breaker and he can be a solid backend rotation piece.
We still need much better players to round out the rotation, though.
