Place called Rivs that has a live music setup...had booked a Springsteen tribute group now canceled them...band told spot they would play other music and place said they are a red establishment and don't want it sick

Quite possibly one of the most stupid moves. You canceled a cover band because you got insulted what Bruce Springsteen said about the cult leader. WOW. That just ridiculous.

I am in Toma River a lot. The owner used to have a place called Rivolis which I called revolting because the food was so bad. Enormous portions of bad Italian food.

Great 1/2 price $7 burger with fries and coleslaw on Monday nights wash it down with $2.00 draft beers. Great sports bar to watch Football on a Sunday afternoon. I wonder if this is really a true story. I will get their side of the story next time I'm in there and report back.

Try the burger, everyone I ever brought there loved the burger. Never eat Italian at a Sports bar or seafood at a steak restaurant. The rest of the food does not look appetizing. Sundays you have 1/3 of the bar wearing Jets another 1/3 wearing Giants and last 1/3 Eagles. It's an iconic jersey shore bar. I was there one night when they were doing bar bingo, quite funny to watch the whole ordeal. Let me know when your going I'll meet you for a beer and talk politics.

Iconic? It’s been in existence for three years. I ate his previous restaurant and the food was terrible. I would never go to one of his establishments. But I’d gladly meet you at a good spot to eat.
