A tweet from Comey today. Pretty fitting.

“A good leader takes a little more than his share of the blame, a little less than his share of the credit.” Arnold H. Glasow(1905-1998)

lol...quote from Comey, because his credibility was so great with both parties hating him..

Typical bullshit from both sides of the fence.

Basketball, please stick to it. Every other topic degrades to a bunch of idiots trying to get the last zinger.

Since this has now morphed into a political discussion only I'll will be moving it to the Off the Ship board tomorrow.

Trump: NFL should suspend Marshawn Lynch after Raiders RB sits for U.S. national anthem in Mexico
BY JAKE BECKER
NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

Monday, November 20

“Marshawn Lynch of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders stands for the Mexican Anthem and sits down to boos for our National Anthem. Great disrespect!” Trump tweeted. “Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season. Attendance and ratings way down.”

Trump’s criticism of the player protests against racial injustice and police brutality is nothing new. In September, he reignited the Colin Kaepernick-sparked demonstrations by calling on NFL owners to fire any “son of a b----h” who took a knee or made a similar gesture during the anthem. responded to Trump’s gripe by protesting, but the Raiders back went a step further when he sported an “Everybody vs. Trump” T-shirt before Oakland’s Week 4 game against the Broncos.

Trump’s blasts against Lynch followed the President’s ripping of basketball dad LaVar Ball on Sunday for being “unaccepting” of Trump’s role in facilitating Ball’s son LiAngelo’s return from China after his arrest for shoplifting.

While Trump continues to boast about getting LiAngelo and two fellow UCLA freshmen out of international trouble, he wants Lynch to pay a price for his protest south of the border.

I don't agree with the ban, it was intended towards US citizens traveling inside the US where the same federal laws are in place and California feels the other state laws are discriminatory. It is not a penalty for past behavior, they are attempting to encourage future behavior.

They don't have a say in future Chinese laws.
