But my favorite coach of all time said a curseword once in a while on the sidelines. Make that once every minute. with a priest or two on the bench

I’ve always been a fan.

People here like him now so he won’t get the grief for complaining about the refs that others would if say a key player got a bad whistle and then leaned into that after the game as an excuse for the loss. That’s how it goes. Same with his antics on the sideline. I get a kick out of them personally but if he wasn’t liked here we would have thread after thread about it.

Yep, should have had a 10 point lead after first 10 minutes. Florida got lucky.

Clayton really was exactly what St johns and any other team in the country needed.

Anyone see the clip going viral now about Hurley going off on tbe refs and saying to Baylor in the tunnel that “I hope the refs don’t F you like they F us”. Certainly wears his emotions on his sleeves. I was pulling for Uconn and wagered them to cover but personally I didn’t think the whistle was that bad.

He does wear his heart on his sleeve in for every time he complains about a ref, there's also a moment like this.

Why can’t people just call it like it is. He acts like classless a-hole way too many times for it to be an outlier event.

His same tired classless act in Creighton this year led to the skirmish at the end of the semi final Big East tournament game.

How about once winning and losing with class and self dignity.

Act like a gentleman not a 🤡 for once.

Karaban is a great guy to have on the teams they've had the previous two years. Excellent complementary player, but not capable of being a focal point of an offense.

He might have learned this during this season, too. Seems his value was greater last year. Betting a little more than 50-50 he returns.

Wouldn't go that far, but his comment about not losing to a low seeded "sucker" was jerk-like. Liked the way the team "went out": OK. Even better if they didn't go out.

Good coach, but even a better drama queen.

If he was our coach and just won 2 natty's, we'd all be saying he's not a jerk, he's passionate and we love him for it. Definitely the stereotypical coach you love to have on your sideline, hate on the other.
