Continued success to John. Guy is always working, promoting the game of College Basketball, and building a brand for himself.
John is a good guy and as someone who is acquainted with him, I can say the enthusiasm and earnestness that he displays is not an act. That is John to the core.
A story of what an impact being a student at the Hall can mean for your career. That and a lot of hard work. His work has gotten better and better over the past five years. No doubt the foundation at WSOU and in the communications dept were the foundation. I wouldn't of made it to the top of advertising agencies without the training and education broadcasting sports on SOU and writing for the Setonian. It made me a great presenter and writer - two qualities required in the ad biz. I owe Setonia a debt of gratitude for my success. It's great when you see others use the school as a platform to achieve greatness. Well done John.
100% agree. There's nothing fake about Fanta. The guy you see on TV is who he is. First and foremost, he is a fan. Also, one of the friendliest guys you will ever meet who will happily talk sports with anyone who wants to listen.
You know what, regardless of our current trials and tribulations on the Ball court, we can look with pride on all the success stories across the board with our alumni. Bob Ley, John Fanta, Danny, Shaheen, Grant, Matt Mc Laughlin, Adrian Griffin, Mark, Levell Sanders, etc[I know there is more]; let's just hope that Shaheen can recruit some guys going forward to return us to a better position next yr
