Couldn’t agree with you more. The vast majority of these kids will not play professionally at any level. Let the injuries be an early lesson that you cannot fall back on the sport to support yourself and your family. GET THAT DEGREE.
He came in as a four-star guy who never lost that reputation because of anything he did on the court ... because he was (essentially) never on the court.
Seriously, it's far to early to call him a bust or overrated or anything like that. He could wind up a first-team all-A10 or even better. I hope he does, actually. Just get healthy, young fella.
By the way, those "Ocean State" alternate unis are busted. They look like something from the USBL in 1988. Jeez...
