Everyone has been great in supporting Hall Hands on Deck, and we thank you!
We're fighting for a seat at the table with the university and hope to have good news soon. Thus far our fundraising has been limited to The Trove and Seton Hall Pirates Basketball Facebook page, and you've answered the call. We're developing our social media sites to expand our reach, but that takes time and help from our supporters.
We need $3,950 to hit our $30,000 match and we'll end the campaign, as soon as we hit that goal. A group of 9 volunteers will have raised $60,000 in under 2 months from a small base of loyal alumni/fans. These numbers don't include what we've raised prior to the March 24th matching campaign.
We've met with the athletic department and indicated that we would be able to increase crowdfunding tremendously with their support, likely between $300K and $500K annually. The university has other sources that could make that number much greater. We're a volunteer resource for the university and we hope they let us in .
Halldan has been a tremendous supporter, as has Tom Eckles and others on Facebook. Without the support of Dan, Tom and all of you , Hall Hands on Deck would be nothing. We (you) have the opportunity to help our beloved team reach new heights, and I know that we can make it happen. Let's get this done!
