We have to win a game in the NCAAs this year. Throwing in the towel because Aiken got hurt and Richmond is banged up is unacceptable. Hopefully we are off the 8-9 line and we get a good 2nd round match up. Who would not want to play a #2 seed like Houston last year or Kansas this year who SJU played tough and Dayton beat.

The committee never does us favor so we’re staring down Baylor in Fort Worth, auburn in Greenville etc.

Whats your point? We beat a fringe tournament team twice? Look what happens when we face a real program. 4 years in and Hurley has a program that’s head and shoulders above.

McDermott will be coaching tomorrow night in case you haven’t noticed. Just like he was coaching in the sweet 16 last year.

It was a fair point but not really relevant. Willard could use some NCAA success like McDermott. Last year he did good in the NCAA for sure but ran into Baylor National Champ. If Cooley makes a run this year posters will be running out of BE coaches to compare to.

the groupies enjoy getting into the tournament and being bounced the 1st or 2nd game. You can’t go at them with logic, just making the tournament is enough for them

I’d say I’m happy this season getting to the NCAAs . The dynamic changed once Aiken got hurt . However, take notice that after this season we need a two way big and some more muscle upfront. We were exposed and that’s a good thing. Now why are you guys reviewing the season already? UConn is a dreadful matchup for this year’s version of an SHU team. Let’s wait until Sunday and see where we are headed . So are we not supposed to root for the team in the NCAA Tournament???
