The issue might be more around trying to turn McKnight into a PG. Doesn't seem like he is one.

Nelson on the other hand looks like the first true PG we have had since Jordan Theodore .

Team looks bad. Fundamentals look bad. You can say what you want about "two games into the season", but boxing out isn't something you need to wait all season to figure out. The ball goes up and you step in front of the nearest body. You don't watch the other team go up for it.

Hear all the talk about how this team will be different from last offensively. It's exactly the same except now it's just Powell going iso instead of Carrington and Desi. I can not believe a team is so constantly bad in the half court.

This is/was a very winnable game based on what i see from Nebraska. Unfortunately we are not very good right now.
Powell is going to be worn out before Big East season even gets here.

Shots being forced, selfish play, tons of 1 on 1 ball, no ball movement. Cale and Thompson look LOST. Wish they had more sets being run.

Completely agree - Nelson already looks more polished than any PG we’ve had in a very long time. He’s a natural.

Nelson should start and play 30 mpg to season him for next season. McKnight is a low mpg role player on a good team. Thompson who knows, but he sure looks lazy in these first two games

Reading through this thread is stunning - hall getting 8.5 against a projected top third big 12 team and the season is already over???

Nelson looks incredibly promising and mamu is a new player physically.

Let’s not cancel the season yet.
