In this era of college basketball, with so much turnover, I think conference-wide results are unpredictable as ever. So I see no reason why we cannot land in the top 5 of the league if things break right. We have a good coach, and we brought in lots of talented (if unproven) kids. What's a real expectation for this team. So many new pieces and how it will work. I can't imagine us realistically being better than UConn and Creighton for example, but is 4th realistic, 5th?
Heard this too.Heard pitino voted us last place.
The POY is always essentially the “6th” member of the first team.I’m confused by Kalkbrenner being Preseason POY and not being 1st team. Am I missing something
I would think they already are sufficiently motivated. They are all getting paid, substantial amounts in some cases. If that plus being a competitor and golden opportunity they have isn’t enough to motivate….If that doesn't motivate Sha and the team nothing will !!
Caught a few minutes of CNN last night and Dana Bash did a segment on Jewish voters in PA. So many who do not like Trump but believe he's better to stop antisemitism and better for Israel. That's a demographic that is traditionally democratic that CNN was talking like they expect it to change this time around in such an important state. Was surprised by this voter registration trend in PA.

there's a duality in those words, as in the linked Gutfeld monlogue (love the bongos)Wow, the same number as those who don’t pay any income taxes.
If you are answering the question of whether their football NIL is as high as tOSU, USC, Michigan and Penn St with probably not, I think you're misguided. The answer is definitely not and it's not even close. 5 stars would be visiting RU if they were possibly on par with those schools. I think what we're seeing is a reflection of money and a new coach isn't going to solve that at RU. I'd like to see what Schiano would do with the talent and depth of those schools. No recruit is saying oh man I want to go to Penn State to play for Franklin or I want to play for Ryan Day instead of Schiano. They're saying Ohio State has a budget of $20 million, I'll take that offer.I’ve heard that the RU NIL coffers are pretty good. Are they as high as Ohio St, USC, Michigan and maybe Penn St? Probably not, But no reason he can’t rise above the rest of the mediocre teams that make up the B1G IMO.
