I'll recommend you watch the documentary what the doctors saw. Literally the first press conference by the doctor said it was an entrance wound in the neck and never again was that repeated despite the doctors still to this day believing that to be true, yet supposedly he changed his mind. LOL
Perry didn't even see the wound in the back! But he's the smoking gun to you? When you only see one hole, you're going to assume its an entrance. Being shot in the neck on an upward trajectory means the bullet would have had to have gone through the front of the car.... Obviously Perry would not have had access to that information at the time to make a determination. He saw one hole and made an assumption.
Science has then since proven that he got it wrong.
