Exactly. Let them leave. The football-only league will be an unwatchable, dollar store version of the NBA. The rest of us can get back to watching college hoops the way it was meant to be.The LIV version of the NCAA. Its inevitable.
Nuclear family demise + advance of social media + pandemic isolation collated damage. We can go that route, but we're going to really upset The Twitter Guy because part of the discussion has to be the nuclear family. If common sense is low, the nuclear family is low, and parents are responsible for giving their children common sense...hmmm where does that lead us. Sounds like the experiment of single parents having to do everything, leaving their children in the care of others isn't working. Maybe we need people with a vested interest in the child's future raising them instead of people who just do it to earn a living because it appears many have taken shortcuts.
But if you want to get into common sense, the government has sold us away from common sense in many scenarios, the greatest of them all the magic bullet theory, which children are still taught to accept that Oswald acted alone and one bullet hit the president and went in multiple directions. Tell me how that makes common sense? I'd love to know.
I've also added a link on weather manipulation. Do you believe it's not real?
No comment on the US Dept of Education?
I think only the strongest programs -- including those with the strongest fundraising infrastructure around them -- are the participants. Success will be somewhat cyclical, as it is in the NFL, but that'll be the new normal. They'll be printing money and they won't care. Forget any similarity to what you know now.Hard to believe otherwise. However all 28-30 brands are what they are due to 4-8 wins against the less popular schools each year . Under a NFL model there will be very unhappy "brand " schools who depend on winning for donations going 2-10. The alumni will not like that.
If it can't be worked out (one way or another), they'll wait out the contract. But this is most certainly the future, and it won't take more than 15 years, which is a conservative timeline. It would have to be a very large multiple on the contract to get one of these low on the totem pole colleges to effectively give their football program the death penalty. I don't see that happening.

Wow are you sure it's not sold out. Although I'm not going this year in the past it always had a great crowd .
Jon Bramnick is the better Republican candidate. He is a moderate with common sense. Jack used to be a moderate when he was a Somerset Freeholder but sold his soul to MAGA. I am supporting Bramnick for Gov.That was a close race. Ciattarelli gave him a run for his money. RNC didn't give him enough support IMO. In hindsight the talking heads on TV called it a lost opportunity. Jack giving it another go next year. He's a SHU grad. Hoping he wins in 2025.
