Kinda like the BiIG, a major conference, with a mid major (RU) member to secure a tv market. 😂 RU gets an annual participation banner. It's a mid major conference that has UConn in
it.
Maybe better than what we brought in last year so yes I would definitely go after any kids that maybe don't care about NIL and have ability even if they aren't recruited by big name schools. Lots of kids fly under the radar and are under recruited because they don't go to camps and have press clippings. If you really think we are going to get high school kids that are 4 and 5 star recruits you are dreaming. SHA is going after 4 and 5 star kids who are in college for one reason or another looking for a new landing place and perhaps more money. Not sure that will change things for us next year. He’s going to Franklin & Marshall.
Do you want to battle them for recruits.
He’s a great story, but no.
It's the same issue that every hard nosed, aggressive team has faced in the past with the NCAA T. Whether that be Gtown back in the day, Huggins teams at Cincy or WVU, Sampson's current Houston teams, some of Pitino's Louisville teams. The Zebra-crew assigned can always impact those types of teams, one way or the other. Also St. Johns routinely plays defense by violating the cylinder rule. The BE refs let them get away with that but if games are called more tightly in that regard in the NCAA Tournament, then the Johnnies could have big problems.
He's not wrong. Glad we got 5 this year, but there are lots of reasons on and off the court this seems to make sense.Pitino on McAfee today again pushing the Big East to expand or combine with ACC. Also said the SEC is dominant because they have great veteran coaches while Big East has a lot of young coaches.
DixonThank God DePaul accepted and we didn't have to embarrass ourselves further. Who will coach Villanova?
