Not questioning the team’s accomplishments, just today, for one day, somebody wanted it more, and they got it. Great win for a struggling team, hope they can build on the win, that’s all. Not necessarily. The players still get paid for say making appearances at Shriners childrens hospital or giving signed jerseys to make a wish foundation kids and the collective could still be operating under their tax exemption (including 501c3) without money going to the partner 501c3.

I thought about this. I didn’t want to in any way make her passing into something trivial, but I wondered if she pulled any strings up there. She really was all in. This really was quite something.
This is the thing. Georgetown used to get those ready-to-go bugs when they were on top of the world. We’ve always had to get them and wait. But this kid has something. He’s not great yet, but he could be. And he’s already serviceable. If he stays healthy and keeps playing over the summer, he could take a big step next year.
