Today I received a phone call from the Athletic Department about renewing my season tickets. These tickets I have had since graduation for 35 years. They asked me why I was not renewing. I told them I did not see the program being able to compete any longer. I thought that NIL has and will destroy the program for good as well as most of the Big East teams. College basketball is no longer enjoyable. There will not be a true Seton Hall players in the future. Guys like Jerry Walker, Shaheen, even Whitehead are a relics. Mercenaries that come in for a year or maybe two, I am just not interested in. The NCAA tournament will never be the same. Essentially, all chalk is in the Sweet 16. Arkansas being the only low seed there. But that is misleading with all the money that was spent on that team and coached by Cal.

Seton Hall basketball was a passion of mine. However, that is all gone now. Good luck Sha, you deserved better to be coaching in this horrible era.
